Fly from FLOCKHILL Lodge by Helicopter to Terrace Downs based in the foothills of the Southern Alps. Terrace Downs is a high country 18 hole championship golf course with a unique landscape. The course is designed by Sid Puddiecomb. He designed it as an 18-hole par 72 course with a varied hole design thus making the golfers strategic choices more important. The parkland styled front 9 course is sheltered with a ‘woodland’ feel, whilst the links style back 9 with its open setting has you on a course in Scotland. A camera is an essential piece of equipment in your golf bag as the mountain ranges and the river canyons are worthy of the memory, no matter the score card.
